Frequently Asked Questions
What will I learn?
This workshop is focused on giving you the skills and practical advice for helping a Shopify store pass the Core Web Vitals.
We will begin by teaching you which data matters, where to find that data, and how to read it in a way that gives you directional clues as to what might be the problem.
Then, we will dig deeper using lab testing tools, showing you common patterns to look out for. For each of the Core Web Vitals, we will dedicate time toward debugging and fixing real issues, using your own shops as examples.
This is not a workshop about how to run a Lighthouse report. This is a workshop on how to improve real user web performance.
Who can sign up for this workshop?
Any Shopify theme developer who would like to better understand how to measure and optimize web performance for a Shopify storefront. It does not matter if your theme is in the theme store or if you work on a custom theme. All developers who understand HTML, Liquid, CSS, and preferably JavaScript are welcome. If you aren't as strong in JavaScript, that will not be a problem.
Can I buy tickets for someone else?
Yes! The registration form you receive after purchase allows you to tell us who the ticket receiver should be. Fill it out once for each ticket.
How many people can attend?
